Jo luku viimeinen saa,
Surmansa kohdannut lepää sijallaan.
Veljet maljan simaa nostavat,
Tyhjäksi juovat nimeen vainajan.

Kaunis laiva kantaakseen saa miehen rauenneen,
Laskua tuonpuoleiseen se vartoo rannalla.
Aseet, korut, rikkaudet matkamies saa mukaansa,
